The location was quiet, so close to riverside and Florence Griswold gardens and the tavern and waterfront. The breakfast was delicious and satisfactory and had variety of options. The staff were very amiable and responsible and took care of us.

The rooms are tastefully decorated here with a stain in the middle of the bedspread, large windows with great views.

This hotel is an excellent base for summer holidays. The staff are very friendly and responsible and the room is reasonably priced with tv. Its location is peaceful, very close to riverside and Florence Griswold gardens. A nice touch is also the good beverages in the jazz bar. Every time in Old Lyme, I choose this place.

Excellent staff, excellent service, magnificent views. Quiet and convenient location near the center of town, extremely close to Lyme Art Association. Also - close enough to Connecticut, hill from there, and the in-house restaurant.

Had extra special stay for 1 night at the old Lyme Inn. Truly enjoyed the price of our standard twin room with a lovely fireplace and its essentials. The hotel was in an unbeatable location adjacent to the Florence Griswold Museum and the in-house restaurant and nice artwork.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a roomy private bathroom. The four-poster bed added a touch of traditional charm. The owner was very welcoming and showed us to our room personally. The convenience of the location was also a plus, as it was close to our Christmas Eve family event.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the beautifully decorated dining room, or relax by the roaring fireplace.

The bathroom lacks heating, which can be uncomfortable, especially during colder seasons.
